About The Body Beautiful Workout

The Body Beautiful Workout is not a "stripper" class, it is a fitness class made up of two parts: floor work and pole work.
The floor work is designed to warm up, stretch and strengthen the body, and to get your muscles used to certain movements.
The pole work is all about strength, new movements, muscle control, learning tricks and having fun!

This is not a cardio class.  It is a strength training workout, but you will sweat!

Whether you are very confidant or a little shy, (or even very shy), about your body, you do not need to be nervous about attending a class.  You will be in a very positive, women only environment, where you will be encouraged and supported.

It only takes a few weeks to feel and see a change in confidence, strength and image.  And, you will be amazed at how much fun you can have while getting a really good workout.

Q:  Will I be removing my clothing?
A:  Absolutely not.  The Body Beautiful Workout is all about the strength and control it takes to move a certain way, not about taking off your clothing.

Q:  What do I wear to class?
A:
Dress as you would for the gym or a yoga class.

Q:  Do we wear high heels in class?
A:
Generally no.  Class is usually done barefoot.  Some students choose to wear heels once they have reached an intermediate level, but there is never an expectation for heels to be worn.

Q:  What does the studio look like?
A:
The Body Beautiful studio has been fashioned as a VIP room with a carpeted floor area, two poles and one stage.  The stage is tiled, mirrored and equipped with a stationary pole.  The second pole can be both stationary and spinning, and is on the carpeted area. There is also a third "stand alone" pole and stage that is used during large group classes.

Q:  Where is the studio located?
A:
The Body Beautiful studio is located in Antelope, CA., between Sacramento and Roseville off I-80.  Because it is a private in-home studio, the address will be given out once you have registered for a class.

Q:  Are there different levels of classes?
A:  Each class will be taught to the level of the participant.  All abilities are welcome.
We will make you comfortable in class at any skill level.

Q:  Do I have to pay in advance?
A:
Yes.  Because there are a limited amount of spaces available in each class, pre-payment reservation is necessary to avoid no-shows.

Q: If I can't make it to class, can I reschedule or get a refund?
A:
Due to the small class sizes, once your space is reserved, it may result in another person being unable to attend at that time.  For this reason there are no refunds. You may reschedule your class up to 48 hours before the class you had reserved. There is no rescheduling within 48 hours of the class, and your payment will not be refunded. You may, however, let a friend have your pre-paid space.

Q: Can a friend use my punch card?
A:  No.  Each punch card can only be used by the individual who purchased it.

Q:  How do I know if there are spaces available in the class I want to take?
A:
Please check the Calendar/Class Schedule to see dates and availability. Contact Jenna King by phone or e-mail immediately before or after payment to confirm the date and time of the class you are paying for.Your space in class is reserved as soon as payment has been made.  Once you have confirmed the date and time, and purchased the class, the calendar will be updated to reflect your reservation. You can reserve your space as far in advance as you'd like.
